Counselling and Psychotherapy in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire

My name is Chris Thomas. I offer psychotherapeutic counselling to adults in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire. I work in person, online and on the telephone. I also offer outdoor therapy in the beautiful surroundings of Hebden Bridge.

I am currently in advanced training working towards a Diploma in Psychotherapy (level 6) accredited by BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).

I use Transactional Analysis as a model of psychology and a method of therapy.

I am a certified leader for the charity Abandofbrothers, and have spent the last 10 years mentoring and supporting young men involved in the criminal justice system. Previously I have worked for TLC (Talk, Listen, Change) in Manchester, supporting young men on probation. I have completed placements at Salford Foundation in Manchester, and at Noah's Ark in Halifax. I currently have 200 hours of clinical experience.

I have a BA (Hons) degree in History and a CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults).
